19th Century Survival Skills

The 19th cen­tury skills course was devel­oped to instruct any­one in the art of being more self reliant.  Whether you want to learn how to make your own food such as can­ning or pre­serv­ing, or you would like to learn how to make your own cloth­ing we have the skill course for you.

Critical Survival also offers a com­pre­hen­sive course in how to butcher and pre­pare meat for long term storage.

Game animal preparation

We offer training in how to prepare an animal by gutting, skinning, and quartering. This course is a one day course. All animals used in this course will be prepared by the student for consumption.

Canning / Preserving

Crit­i­cal Sur­vival offers a com­pre­hen­sive course in can­ning your own food, whether that is fruits and veg­eta­bles or meat and meat prod­ucts.  In this course we pro­vide you with the tools and the knowl­edge that you can take home with you once you are done with the class.  Critical Survival believes knowl­edge is power and hav­ing the proper equip­ment will enable any­one to pro­vide for themselves.
